Are inflatable water slides and bouncers safe? Absolutely. We apologize for being abrupt, but reason is to deter non-committal or last minute cancellation when other clients were turned away.
What if I am unable to put down the deposit in time? Don't delay, talk to Arlene to arrange a payment plan. We understand funds may not be available within a given time and we really want to help you make your child's party a bouncing success!
When is the balance due? You have the option of paying the remaining balance before or on the day of your party, it's up to you but, it is expected before the scheduled start time. Please note, cash payment only if you do decide on paying the remaining balance on the day of your party.
What if it rains? On the day of your event, we contact all customers to confirm weather conditions. At that time, we'll make the decision to proceed with the rental or not. Only under the condition of inclement or bad weather cancellations we will refund the $50 deposit or option to reschedule for another time. Please note, if you do decide to proceed with the rental in hope the weather will clear and it does not upon our arrival, we will not setup and you forfeit the $50 deposit.
Why can't the kids jump in the bouncer in the rain or with wet clothing? SAFETY! It is very dangerous to jump and bounce on wet slippery vinyl surface especially with a group of kids slippin' & colliding into each other! Note: 100% dry!
Cleaning a wet vs. dry bouncer? A wet and dirty bouncer means longer hours spent on cleaning and drying. And not to mention the electric cost to keep the unit inflated for a longer period to dry completely preventing mold and mildew growth! Please read the rental agreement contract stating you are responsible for additional cleaning costs and repair costs, if any.
Are there any forms to sign? Yes, a Rental Agreement, Assumption of Risks and Liability Release form AND the Safety Rules mandated by our insurance company must be read, understood and signed by the lessee
How long is your rental period? Our standard rental time is 3 hours although a 2 hour request is uncommon due to additional party activities such as kaukau time, games, happy birthday singing & cutting of cake, pinata bashing, opening of gifts, time to go back to class or what ever it may be. Longer hours are welcome by informing us during reservations.
How long does it take to setup? Bouncers/Castle: 15 mins, Water Slides: 1-1/2 hours.
Who supplies the electricity? You do. One dedicated standard electrical outlet per one blower is required within 75 feet. We supply the extension cords.
What if electric power is not available? You could either supply your own 3500 watts or higher generator or rent it from us for an additional $35.
Who supplies the water? You do. Fairly strong water pressure is needed to provide water to fill the pool and feed the overhead sprinklers for the duration of the rental time. For multiple water slide rentals, please check for additional water spigots for best performance. We supply the water hose.
Are we able to rent a slide if we're on water catchment? Is your water system able to provide clean and relatively strong pressure to fill the 400 gallon pool and provide continuous flow to feed the sprinklers? If your answer is yes, so is ours.
Do you recycle the water for your water slides? No.
Do you setup if it's windy? Absolutely Not! It is very dangerous to be on any type of inflatable with high winds exceeding 20-25 MPH! Think of it as a gigantic balloon...what happens to a balloon when the wind gets a hold of it? Yep, it flies away and sometimes up, up, up and away. True story...not long ago at a beach on the island of O'ahu kids were in a jumping castle when all of a sudden a strong gust of wind blew onshore and literally uplifted the castle several feet in the air and out into the ocean!! Luckily, bystanders rushed out and rescued the children unharmed.
HAVE FUN! Inflatables are impressive, colorful, exciting and fun! Your party will be the center of attention when it is blown up so enjoy it and take lots of pictures of your children having the time of their lives as they will always remember it and so will you! Mahalo nui loa for reading these very important facts. Inflatables are alot of fun and safe and, it can also be dangerous due to non supervision and/or a misbehaved child. Accidents does happen, no doubt about it, but we can all help to prevent it from happening if we all USE COMMON SENSE AND TO ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THE SAFETY OF THE CHILDREN!!
